I remember this image because it was a learning experience, and also the first time that TTL didn't seem to work for me. We are super shallow here, and there is no way to look through even a 45 degree viewfinder, so I held the housing out to snell the soft coral. I had no idea the clouds were there until I looked at the preview from the first shot. The stopped down lens captured the clouds nicely, but the animal didn't light up until I put both D-160 strobes on Full Power and blasted from 6 inches away. Pointing a camera at the sky in 2 feet or water brings so much brightness you will be caught off guard if you are using the settings for a normal 20 foot dive.
