First; they are around more often than you think, but you don't notice them until there are a lot of them around, because they are usually up around the surface. During your ascents, pause around 10 feet and look out for them. Keep in mind that the colors won't really light up to your eye. Jellyfish always seem to look white until you capture them with flash. Be careful that your movements don't contort their natural shape.
